  2. I have since found a couple more of them out and about. I think because Gagalin is a free font to use in Canva, many local users tend to opt for it in their projects. Other than that, I couldn't quite reason out why Gagalin would be used here as frequent as it is.

  4. U.S.A. here. I often see text that looks like that. Whether it's Gagalin or some similar font I have never bothered to delve into.

  6. osu! is a rhythm game where you hit numbered circles. There is an osu! skin that stood out to me for its large wide numbers. The skin can be downloaded here: https://skins.osuck.net/skins/1371?v=0 Unfortunately, the numbers are only in image format so I don't know what the name of the font is. I took a screenshot of the numbers: The number images are in the skin file.

  14. Safe to assume that your sample dates from the 1950s at the latest? Then we are dealing with a pre-digital or even pre-phototypesetting (i.e., metal type) version of Bookman. Modern digital versions may not be an exact match. Given the letter spacing of your sample, it may also be a typewriter version of Bookman.

  17. I'm looking for fonts that have a open source ofl licence and that have a futuristic cyberpunk feel to them
  18. I’ve found some sketchy download sites that have a less well-drawn version named LHF Heavy Sign Script. Another option for Witt's is Casey, if you mix and match the styles to use the W from the Classic weight.
  19. The Google web font Molle is quite similar (and open source). For the other two lines, Antique Olive would be a decent substitute (artificially condense it for the bottom line).
  20. I found a close match (the W on your sign has one small edit) in one database that identified it as FHA Heavy Sign Script by the Fontry (released in 2000), but no luck finding corroboration of that ID or a download/purchase site for it yet.
  21. A local business is having an ad in a publication I am working on. This sign was made for them over a decade ago and the signmaker is no longer in the area, or I would have reached out to get the sign file. Is the Witts part a font? I'm sure I can find something suitable for the Heating & Air part, but I'm not having any luck with the script. I'm also not in a position to get a better picture of the sign, unfortunately. Thanks in advance if you have any ideas.
  22. This was used during a Zoom/YouTube presentation this morning, 9/17/24, hosted by Karen Titus and named Creative Cards Kickstart. The "K" is what caught my eye. I haven't been able to identify it even after making the suggested reversal of background and contrast. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.
  23. Sorry, not finding a match either. Given the age of the sample, it may have been a digital typeface that was available for a short time, but is no longer sold/distributed. Similar: Serapis, Impact Label, Label Gun Regular, Typo Positive Designed by Form® and Green.
